The Union of Champagne Houses invites you to celebrate European Heritage Days 2022 at an exhibition of photographs by local artist Michel Jolyot, generously supported by the Mission Coteaux, Maisons et Caves de Champagne.
Titled Les Mondes Parallèles, the exhibition presents a series of weird and wonderful photographic creations inspired by natural phenomena: gnarly vine stock in Champagne and the Vaucluse; the barks of trees on the Montagne de Reims and in the Ardennes. Close-up shots of wondrous creatures that reveal the plant kingdom in all its beauty and astonishing diversity. Nature captured through a creative lens that brings home the urgency of protecting ecosystem biodiversity.
The exhibition perfectly illustrates the concept of “sustainable heritage” selected as the theme for this year’s European Heritage Days here in France. As the exhibition host, the Union of Champagne Houses is delighted to have this opportunity to raise public awareness of the crucial issues at stake.
