Epernay & New Delhi, 22 April 2026 – As the free trade agreement between the European Union and India nears completion, the co-Presidents of Comite Champagne and the Director General, were in India for their first-ever visit. With Rajiv Singhal, Ambassador of the Champagne in India, they met with Indian officials in Government departments such as Indian customs and attorneys; Champagne players such as luxury hotels, importers, foreign subsidiaries, learning centres, retailers; media professionals; and European Ambassadors in New Delhi, Gurugram, Agra and Darjeeling..
