Founded in 1922 and spearheaded by Champagne and Cognac producers, the Fédération des Exportateurs de Vins & Spiritueux de France (federation of French wines and spirits exporter or FEVS) is a professional body (incorporated under the law of 1884) that brings together 565 French wine and spirits. In 2017 the FEVS accounted for the bulk of 11.9 billion euros worth of exports of French wines and spirits brands, including Champagne (2.82 billion euros), Cognac (3.07 billion euros) and Bordeaux (2.02 billion).

Comprehensive details of the complex regulations governing the production and global export of wines and spirits are available to members through the FEVS dedicated Member Extranet System, "Le Guide V & S", which is kept fully updated at all times.

The FEVS is in continuous consultation with similar organisations throughout the world and contributes to political, economic and administrative decision-making in the wines and spirits sector at the national and international levels.
